We are proud to serve as the community's "Asian town," working tirelessly to drive AAPI visibility and belonging by celebrating our food, stories, and cultural heritage. Our goal is simple: to make Cincinnati a more diverse and inclusive city, helping to attract and retain Asian Americans in the region.
Keep Asianati Accessible: The Giving Challenge
Help us keep our cultural programming open, accessible, and FREE. Our major events, like the annual Asian Food Fest and the immersive Asianati Night Market at BLINK, are designed to welcome everyone in the community without financial barriers.
You can help ensure that Asianati can continue to do this! We depend on support from our community—including foundations, corporate sponsors, and, most importantly, generous individuals like you.
Double Your Donation: The Executive Director Match! Our new executive director, Paraag Maddiwar, will match up to $1,000 of your donations!
This means that during this challenge, your contribution will be matched dollar-for-dollar, effectively doubling your impact on our community and our programming. Your $50 gift instantly becomes $100 for Asianati!
Act Now to Double Your Gift! Asianati is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Your gift is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Please make a gift today! We're proud to be your hosts and storytellers. Thank you for being part of our journey to celebrate Asian American culture in Cincinnati. Together, we'll keep exploring, creating, and sharing the vibrant tapestry of our community.

Our Roots, Our Vision: History and Mission
Asianati's roots began in 2010 with the creation of the Asian Food Fest. The Asianati website and brand were officially launched in 2020 to provide a permanent, accessible digital hub to support Asian-owned businesses that were impacted by the pandemic. Today, we stand as the central hub for Asian American and Pacific Islander culture in the Greater Cincinnati region.
Our Impact: Programs and Services Asianati blends large-scale public events, ongoing digital content, and continuous community engagement to fulfill our mission:
- Signature Events like Asian Food Fest, Asian Cuisine Week, and Asianati Night Market at BLINK.
- Heritage and Education Programs including AAPI Heritage Month and Asianati Hanami Picnic.
- AAPI Community-building Events from our quarterly Meetups to events partnering with local civic and cultural institutions.
- Ongoing Digital Services including our popular Asian Food Finder along with cultural storytelling.
With your support, we’ll be able to add programs to create and engage in unique culinary experiences, explore and enjoy talent from Asian artists, and develop community through volunteerism among others.
These efforts aim to elevate AAPI visibility, create new opportunities for cultural exchange, and ensure that Cincinnati becomes a place where Asian heritage students, professionals, and families feel deeply connected and proud to call home.
