Trends in Cardiovascular Care: Acute Interventions and Recovery Care with topics of discussion: Understand the nurse’s role in managing patients on extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) and post open heart recovery phase, and Understand the use of the left ventricular assist device (LVAD) in managing heart failure.
Nurse participants will be awarded 3.5 contact hours but it is open to anyone who is interested in learning about the topics listed. The event is open to student nurses for free.
