Teruko and Titi’s Triumph over Tragedy!
MADE IN AMERICA is a brutally honest, surprisingly entertaining, and heartbreakingly life-affirming love letter to the human experience. It’s a story for women, Asians, first-generation immigrants, and anyone who is fighting to make their dreams come true. Her dog Titi performs too.
Please note there is no late seating for this production.
Based on current infection rates and active cases, Cincy Fringe plans to make masking encouraged, but optional in performance spaces for audiences for the 2023 Festival.
Please note that we will re-evaluate this policy if infection rates rise significantly before or during the Festival, in the interest of keeping the festival accessible to our most vulnerable artists, patrons, and staff.
Thank you for your understanding.
Teruko Nakajima is an actor, dancer, singer, writer, woman, Asian, first-generation immigrant and American who was born in a family of artists in Tokyo, Japan. Teruko means a shining girl. She is your biggest cheerleader on earth, and will cheer you up until you say ENOUGH:) She recently adopted a baby doggie and now she is a proud single mother. She named her Titi, which means “Tiny Teruko”.
