Nishita performs a thematic show, Dancing to the Blissful Poetry, as part of the Ohio Arts Council Traditional Arts Apprenticeship grant award. Each dance tells heritage stories and is inclusive of everyone regardless of their social status.

Nishita celebrates 14th-century poetry and compositions which are still relevant and popular. Nishita will be performing these dances in Folk, Kuchipudi, and Bharata Natyam dance styles.

Light refreshments will be served after the event.
