1,000 Squares: An Origami Story
May 11 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm
Guest speaker Koji Sado shares his knowledge of the history of origami, the story of the one thousand cranes, and the impact of origami on the Asian American community.
Origami is an art of intention, each fold tells a story, and each step requires patience and thought. 1,000 squares: An Origami Story is a chance for the community to learn and create together. There will be an opportunity to do origami together, with folds for all ages and skill levels. Thank you to all who helped create the display of 1,000 cranes, and be sure to check it out before the end of May.
